JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering tires, securing warehouse, and supervising Warehouse staff. Maintains consistent Warehouse flow by ensuring productivity goals are being met, safety and sanitation standards are followed, and on time departure of tires to customer base.

- Responsible for maximizing tire inventory storage levels for best use-of-space – developing, proposing, and implementing solutions.
- Inventories material usage to ensure minimal waste, and maximum yield while maintaining strict adherence to specifications.
- Manages the receiving of tires, loading, and unloading, accurate counting, recording and storage of inbound trucks and containers.
- Developing or improving, implementing, executing best practices for warehouse processes and procedures.
- Lead the development, scheduling, and retention of the center staff to include continuous improvement, succession planning, disciplinary procedures, and future growth of the business.
- Develop and monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees and productivity standards.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of employees concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, delivering, troubleshooting, and picking up tires in warehouse.
- Responsible for communicating job expectations to staff; urgency needed with all personnel to maintain flow and meet scheduled departure/delivery times and dates.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization to highest standard (safety and sanitation).
- Ensure machinery is serviced and functional.
- Auditing of all employee paperwork and spot check physical receiving compliance, including tire inventory report and correct customers over and short of products.
- Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute to sales associates for processing.
- Supervise replenishment of primary stock locations utilizing assigned forklift drivers.
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Assist with meeting warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
- Maintains storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles.
- Maintains inventory by conducting daily/weekly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
- Identify damage, loss, or surplus of tires stored in the warehouse.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Manages operation to comply with all applicable safety laws and regulations, as well as company safety policies, procedures, and standards.
- Enforce compliance with Health and Safety rules for the company, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
- Directs the day-today activities of the warehouse. Such activities include but is not limited to receiving, forklift movement, inventory/quality control and sanitation.
- Generates warehouse productivity reports, regarding receiving rates, and accounts for all labor hours.
- Responsible for warehouse safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of OSHA local and state regulations.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years related experience and/or training.
